How does an FTMO Rewards Account work from the technical side?

After you become an FTMO Verified Prop Trader, you will be provided with an FTMO Rewards Account, which operates in a demo simulated environment with simulated capital.

Despite an FTMO Rewards Account operating in a demo simulated environment, the market quotes are real from liquidity providers (the same applies to Free Trial, FTMO Challenge and Verification), but no trading is performed on live markets.

Separately, OANDA Prop US Corporation may conduct trading on its own account using its own financial resources. In doing so, it may use trading data and signals from top-performing FTMO Verified Prop Traders (Signal Providers) to aid its trading decisions. This process is entirely separate.
