An FTMO Verified Prop Trader is someone who has successfully completed both the FTMO Challenge and Verification stages, and has also completed the FTMO Identity process (KYC/KYB) and signed the Signal Provider Agreement. Only after completing these steps does the participant advance to the FTMO Verified Prop Trader stage.
This role is referred to contractually as a Signal Provider. While our Signal Providers never actually trade on live markets, their trades in a simulated environment are monitored and may be used for further independent trading decisions by OANDA Prop US Corporation - i.e. as “signals”. The Signal Provider’s experience remains consistent with the FTMO model; they follow defined rules and objectives and are eligible to earn rewards based on their performance.
