Trading According to the Real Market?

Execution Policy & Trading Conditions

All trading within the FTMO Challenge, Verification, and on the FTMO Rewards Account takes place in a simulated environment. We use real-time market data from active market-maker participants and aim to mirror real-market execution as closely as possible. Execution can be affected by technical factors outside our control, including trading-platform settings, geographic distance to the trading infrastructure, systems load, internet connection quality, and order-flow queue.

Order Execution Model

Orders are executed using a Fill or Kill (FOK) model with no partial fills. An order is filled only if the entire requested size can be executed at a single price level. If the full size is not available at one level, the order is rejected. This supports transparent execution, allowing participants to see available volume bands and know the exact price they will receive if the order is filled.

We do not add hidden markups or introduce artificial slippage. Slippage is the difference between the requested or trigger price and the executed price, which can occur due to market dynamics and timing. Slippage may be positive or negative and is not influenced to favor or disadvantage any participant.

Volatility and Liquidity Considerations

During highly volatile or illiquid periods, for example major news releases or market rollovers, spreads may widen and available volume can change quickly. In such conditions, orders may be rejected under the FOK policy or experience notable slippage when triggered.
